It all looks so easy, until I try it myself.

Great time to exit Charlie because the CAD news came out and the usd have fallen i have traded the same pair with good return. In the moorning i was upset because i have shorted NZD at 0.68269 with a stopp loss 0.68410 and my broker have closed my position and wen i have looked the chart it didn’t hit that target.I have watched a video that have presented a proffesional retail trader a scalper trader that sayd he don’t use stop loss because the brokers are playing tricks with the prices and i think he is right. What do you think Charlie ?

well brokers can widen spread to catch you if you are a scalper with ultra tight stops. but for normal traders then a broker can’t move the market just to come and stop you so no, they wouldn’t have an impact. The banks control the market and where it may go, not brokers. all brokers can do is widen their spreads at times if price is getting close to a stop – and that’s a bad broker anyway. good ones wont….

    Hi Charlie,

Thanks for the video. Im a brit based in NYC, so its great to get your take on the markets. I just exited a long position from late Thursday on the USDJPY (hit my target) but it now seems to have taken off.

    Take care, and thanks again.
