Hi Charlie. Love your videos. Just wondering as to the differences in Telecharts and Esignal. I know you use both, which do you prefer? Any glaring differences/ benefits in one over the other? Also, will it be possible to watch a rerun of the webinar, I am away that evening.

      Hi Paul,

I really only use Telecharts for projecting so that I can have my signal charts on a separate computer. Telecharts is fine but signal is a big step up in terms of functionality and having multiple charts.

Hi Charlie, thanks for you reply. As a beginner, I subscribed to Esignal about a month ago through the excellent offer you have on your site, and have been finding my way around the platform since. I agree it is first class. When choosing a broker, have you any tips? I know you have a couple companies recommended on your site, however do these assimilate with Esignal? For example, on the Esignal site, is a list of compatible brokers. I had a look at Interactive Brokers the other day, but have had trouble getting my demo account functioning properly on the Esignal platform. I will contact them about it, but just wondering if you had any thoughts on a compatible broker with an easy to use trade deal ticket, that works well with Esignal.
Apologies if this all sounds confusing.

Ah no I don’t try to trade through the charts so my broker is kept separate to the charts….

Thanks for your reply Charlie. Using a broker separate to the charts, I didn’t think of that! I’ll check out ETX today,

Paul, I use esignal, through the very good Ezeetrader offer and ETX.

Although the ETX charts cannot compare with esignal they are very clear and it is possible to trade directly on the chart. You can have many of the indicators, for example the MAs and I actually find it rather easier to place the trade on a separate platform to the charting one. I certainly don’t think there is a material disadvantage.

One quirk of the ETX platform is that the window management on the Trader Pro application is not all that it should be and it doesn’t intelligently resize if for example you move from desktop to laptop. Hopefully this will be sorted before long in an update. The other minor issue to my mind is that the Trader Pro and MT4 platforms are treated as separate accounts so if for example you want to get into some programming on MT4 you need to set up the funding as well. The ETX customer service is first class and I can totally recommend them. Hope this helps.
