    Hi Charlie, thanks for this.. so.. abit confused…so, are you saying price will move towards your stop as you trade bigger lots?.. i thought that was the whole point of trading with ECN or someone like LMAX.. price is from exchange .. cannot be manipulated .. as would i assume the bigger banks, hedge funds would be placing a much bigger size trade and stops than the regular trader running a fund.. so why would market chase regular traders stops…?

      A 400 lot trade is not a ‘regular trader trade’! It doesn’t matter what broker you are with, at big size, the market will see a stop of that size…

        ah .. ok ..many thanks….so how does one avoid this happening?… this could totally ruin ones strategy.. tested to work under smaller lots ?? …

          Yes it could. Forget about day trading if on a fund. basically the bigger the fund, the wider the stop needs to be…
