Weekly outlook – central banks, sentiment and jobs – 3rd December

In this weeks outlook we can see some switches in sentiment but at least one of these may be short lived. There are plenty of people suggesting the Euro has some significant upside as the dollar rally has finished, however this is a weakly formed argument as the fundamentals will show us. We have central bankers in Australia and Canada meeting this week. It will be interesting to see their view of things. Those currencies close to China may see a continuation to the upside although it may be limited to a relief as even Chinese data is showing weakness.
